Granada Fishing Reserves

Several preserves in Granada, there are approximately 11 assets, let's review some of them:

White Water Preserve in Quéntar

Located between the tail of the swamp and the town of Tocón de Quéntar. Its population of common trout is abundant and the sector is perfect to locate where it is most convenient since it is not overly visited.

Its greatest attraction is that it is a preserve with a death regime. The number of catches is a maximum of 6 and you can fish other species besides common or rainbow trout.

Almaha Preserve

The zone of action of this reserve is concentrated in the Cortijo de Casa Alta up to the Pantaneta Wall. In this reserve without death, the practice of fishing for brown trout has no catch limits and only one hook can be used.

Fardes Preserve

Its radius is located in the Venta de Molinillo sector and the Cristo de la Fe power plant. Its fishing regime is also without death and there is no limit to the capture of trout.  

Reserve of Genil

In this reserve we can find very good populations of trout of excellent quality. It is located between Güéjar and the San Juan River, it is a stretch without death, that is, catch and release; but they also do not limit the number of captures

El Portillo Preserve

From the Lezar bridge to the dam wall itself is the range of action of this preserve. Its regimen without death for the common trout allows the capture of an unlimited number of specimens.

Coto Riofrio

An ideal place for trout fishing with death, its six kilometers of cold waters are perfect for the reproduction of the species.

The fishing permit is extended from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year. The ban is specified for the lower Riofrío area that runs from March to August 31.
