All the bodies of fresh water available for fishing on the peninsula have their closed season. The Autonomous Communities have the duty to ensure that these regulations are fully respected and complied with.
What is the ban?

- Maximum number of captures, that is, the daily quota.
- Baits authorized for each species and in each community.
- What are the marketable species.
- The limitations and prohibitions of others of indigenous origin.
- The respective delimitations and regulations for the waters that are considered special, refuges and others.
- The protection of those continental species.
- Control of exotic invasive species.
The closed season for trout waters
At the level of the waters declared properly trout, the ban for Castilla-La Mancha determine two things:
- Low mountain waters: fishing permit from April 1st to September 30th.
- high mountain waters: the business period corresponds to the 1st of May until the middle of October.
In summary, outside these dates the possibility of fishing is prohibited. Of course, this is only in the free zones, and in the preserves their specific regime should be consulted.
